CCIC Cupertino 是由 CCIC San Jose 於 2004 年在庫柏蒂諾 (City of Cupertino, CA) 植堂成立的。
We believe the purposes of the church are evangelism (Mt. 28:18-20, Php. 1:5), edification of the saints (Eph. 4:11-12), and testimony for Jesus Christ (Mt. 5:13-16, Php. 2:15). Therefore, all those seeking the Biblical truth and all Christians looking for a spiritual home, are welcome to fellowship within the Church.
We believe that there is only one true God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. He is the Son of God, the only mediator between God and man. We believe that He was miraculously born of the Virgin Mary through the conception by the Holy Spirit to become man. We believe in His substitutionary death on the cross and His bodily resurrection on the third day to fulfill God’s salvation. We believe that He has ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father and He will come again for the believers.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers, helping believers to understand the truth and enabling and empowering the life and ministry of each believer.
We believe that all Scripture is God-breathed and inspired by God and without mistakes as originally written. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only authoritative source for our faith and practice for the Christian life.
We believe that all people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and are by nature sinners. By disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death – eternal separation from God.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross so that all who believe in Him are declared righteous, are reconciled to God, and have eternal life; but all who do not believe in Him are to be separated from God eternally.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of His body, the universal church comprising of all born-again believers. Jesus Christ is also the head of any local church. Under His leadership, and as a living testimony of His resurrection, believers are to serve together to deliver the good news to all peoples.
We believe that marriage, as ordained by God, is defined as being the exclusive uniting of one man (biological male) and one woman (biological female) in a lifelong covenant commitment that provides the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of biblical sexual expression, and the means for procreation of the human race. God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. Any form of sexual intimacy outside the bounds of marriage is sin and offensive to God.
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of the Church’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, Church’s Elder Board (the “Elder Board”) is the Church’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.
Church may allow, at its sole discretion and subject to the Church Statement of Faith, the use of its facilities for activities not directly related to the operations of Church but are still for the Christian religious purposes for which the requesting Christian organization is chartered. Non-Church related activities may be allowed when the uses are compatible with the Church Statement of Faith (which is posted on CCIC-Cupertino official website), or the uses are requested by a government agency for conducting public/community service events, which at Church’s sole discretion will not materially conflict with the Church Statement of Faith (which is posted on CCIC-Cupertino official website).
With the spiritual authority of Church, the Elder Board shall have non-appealable authority over a decision regarding whether a use is allowed. Further, if any activity negatively reflects on Church’s testimony of Christ to the community, the Elder Board, in their sole discretion, may direct to deny an application for use or cancel such calendared activity. The church also reserves the right to withdraw any permission granted if the Elder Board learns of facts or circumstances and determines that would make the use contrary to the purposes of the church.
