Requests for pastoral services will be subject to the Church Statement of Faith and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Any marriage performed on Church’s facilities shall be officiated by a member of the Elder Board or a staff member with approval from the Elder Board. Applicants for using Church’s facilities for a marriage ceremony must be an associate member of the Church and shall affirm his or her agreement with definition of marriage in the Church Statement of Faith.

Church may allow, at its sole discretion and subject to the Church Statement of Faith, the use of its facilities for activities not directly related to the operations of Church but are still for the Christian religious purposes for which the requesting Christian organization is chartered. Non-Church related activities may be allowed when the uses are compatible with the Church Statement of Faith (which is posted on CCIC-Cupertino official website), or the uses are requested by a government agency for conducting public/community service events, which at Church’s sole discretion will not materially conflict with the Church Statement of Faith (which is  posted on CCIC-Cupertino official website).

With the spiritual authority of Church, the Elder Board shall have non-appealable authority over a decision regarding whether a use is allowed. Further, if any activity negatively reflects on Church’s testimony of Christ to the community, the Elder Board, in their sole discretion, may direct to deny an application for use or cancel such calendared activity. The church also reserves the right to withdraw any permission granted if the Elder Board learns of facts or circumstances and determines that would make the use contrary to the purposes of the church.
